mike heid
Owner, OperatorMike loves building and remodeling homes. He has been in the building business since he was 15 years old, and that’s when he discovered a lifelong passion for building homes that reflect the taste, style and dreams of the owners. He founded MK Homes in 1995 to do both custom homebuilding and remodeling.
Mike continually studies to stay on the industry’s cutting edge keeping a higher standard for himself & his people. Mike and his talented team of craftsman build much more than houses. They build a long term relationship with every homeowner by forming a close partnership to bring the homeowners vision to reality. Mike considers his customers his friends and the feeling is mutual.
Mike’s professional affiliations include the National Association of Homebuilders, Texas Association of Builders, Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, NAHB and the Better Business Bureau.
kelly heid
Owner, Vice President, Interior DesignerKelly is the "K" in MK... Kelly has been part of the team since 1995. She is our interior designer for our spec homes and also helps in the office. Her and Mike have three beautiful children, Lindsay, Brady and Blake. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, decorating and loving on her two beautiful grandchildren Channing and Lane! Her passion is helping others, being apart of their home building journey and keeping up to date on the latest trends!
Jon Nottingham
Vice President of Operations
With a degree from The University of Akron, where he played baseball, Jon brings a competitive spirit and a wealth of experience in driving business growth and success.
Jon’s greatest joy comes from his beautiful family. He is married to his lovely wife Shelby, and together they adore their precious baby
girl, Gianna. Outside of work, Jon loves going to baseball games, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. He’s also a movie buff who relishes a good film night.
Jon is passionate about his role at MK Homes because it allows him to turn clients’ dream homes into reality. His favorite part of the
job is meeting with homeowners, forming lasting relationships, and ensuring that the process of building their dream home is enjoyable and fulfilling.
Lindsay Ayres
Lindsay combines her expertise in project management with a passion for building dream homes.
When she’s not on-site ensuring everything runs smoothly, Lindsay focuses on being a loving mama to her little boy Lane and a loving wife
to her husband Daniel.
Lindsay’s love for the great outdoors shines through in her hobbies. Whether she’s enjoying a relaxing day at the lake, engaging in
adventurous activities, or simply hanging out with family and friends, she embraces every moment with enthusiasm and joy.
Her commitment to creating beautiful, functional spaces makes Lindsay a cornerstone of the MK Homes family. Her vibrant energy and dedication
to excellence inspire everyone around her.

With over 20 years of management experience, Tandi is truly a Jill-of-all-trades, seamlessly juggling finances, coordinating selections, and sprinkling her interior design magic everywhere she goes.
A lover of Jesus, Texas country music, and Route 44 diet cranberry limeades, Tandi's vibrant personality shines through in everything she does. Her favorite travel destination? The lively streets of New Orleans, of course!
Tandi is also a devoted rescue dog mom, sharing her home with the adorable Paisley. (She also has 2 grown son's who will tell you the dogs are more spoiled than they ever were.)
Patrick Wooten
Project ManagerWith over 10 years of experience in various roles within the homebuilding industry, Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for excellence to our team.
Patrick is a proud native Texan and a Marine Veteran who served our country from 2006 to 2010. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from Columbia University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Family is at the heart of Patrick’s life. He is a devoted husband to his stunning wife Aimee and a loving father to their two children,
Braiden and Lily. Baseball plays a significant role in their family life, and you can often find Patrick and Aimee at sporting events with the kids on
weekends.
Patrick’s dedication to home building comes from his love of transforming plans into dream homes for our clients. His extensive experience
and commitment to quality make him an invaluable part of the MK Homes team.
